Google book settlement announced

Google Books announced a settlement with publishers today.  Paul Courant is excited about the promise of a universal bookstore.

I’ll post my thoughts on it after I read the whole thing … but I am cautiously optimistic (mostly optimistic).

Stanford University weighs in.
