Library power readers

I would love to see a Library Power Readers site modeled after Google’s Power Readers in Politics site.

We could have Power Reader sites by discipline (with participants’ permission, of course), so that others could see what the top Econ faculty are reading, or follow what’s hot reading among the Bio-X crowd at Stanford.

I think that sort of sharing would be immensely useful to scholars, and I’m sure the library could do wonders with the data produced.
