The Mindset of today’s freshmen

Every year, I look forward to the Beloit College Mindset list, which “provides a look at the cultural touchstones that shape the lives of students entering college.”
Some of my favorites characteristics of the Class of 2012:

1. Harry Potter could be a classmate, playing on their Quidditch team.
7. Gas stations have never fixed flats, but most serve cappuccino.
16. Haagen-Dazs ice cream has always come in quarts.
25. There have always been gay rabbis.
